Waiting for a Deliverance

Scripture: Exodus 21:13 – And if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver him into his hand; then I will appoint thee a place whither he shall flee.

Understanding: In this scripture, we’re talking about a man, who is waiting for God to deliver him into the Lord’s hands. The Lord wants to take this man out from where he is, to be set free, into a new place where he is no longer in bondage to what is holding him accountable, a place of refuge, and of a new beginning.

Dear God,

Let your spirit fall fresh on us today, as we study your word, we will see your revelation and vision. As I meditate on this scripture, I think about how it applies in my own life, in the areas that I need deliverance and healing. To step into the new place, a place of a new mindset, a new heart, and become set free! We never really realize how much we need to flee from the entanglements, that we put ourselves in, rather it be a deliverance of insecurities, past pains and traumas, addictions or even depression. God wants to meet us in a new place, the place that is filled with inner love, forgiveness within ourselves, and worthiness. A place where you no longer listen to the whispers of voices, and the heavy burdens of life, but into God’s presence of peace that passes all understanding. There is a place where you no longer have to carry it all on your shoulders, but a place where you can set them down at God’s feet, and feel his unconditional love for you. For God cares for you, He wants to give you relief, and protection. He wants you to see yourself through His lens, and understand that you are who He says you are! You are not what you use to be, your past doesn’t define you, and your mistakes doesn’t have a place for your future! May your days always be filled with gratitude, joy, and rest. New beginnings, new changes, and new a you!

In Jesus Name, Amen ❤
